Fall 2010 Rush in the Works

The Brothers of Delta Sigma Pi just concluded another successful and productive year here at Binghamton. Unfortunately, we did have to say goodbye to 23 Brothers who have graduated and taken the next step in their careers as a Deltasig. With that said, we are looking ahead to next semester and the many candidates interested in rush. We are excited to meet all who are interested and we hope that you’ll bring along some friends.

Rush will officially take place on Monday, September 20th at the PFC’s United Rush. The exact time and location have yet to be determined. The specific events for the our Fall 2010 Rush are still in the works so be sure to check this site again sometime around August for more details.

For incoming freshmen and transfer students, we regret to inform you that you will be ineligible to receive a bid your first semester here at Binghamton University but you are encouraged to join us during rush. Please check out our FAQ section for more details.

Lastly, I want to thank you for displaying interest and checking out our website. Please check the site again soon as updates will be made throughout the semester. We look forward to meeting you this Fall!

KPMG Adopt-a-Highway and Ice Cream Social!

Delta Sigma Pi and KPMG will be co-adopting part of Vestal Parkway and would like to invite you to join and help us improve Binghamton, one mile at a time. After cleaning the highway, volunteers will be invited to attend an ice cream social. This is a great opportunity to network with Binghamton Alumni, Delta Sigma Pi Brothers, as well as KPMG Professionals, including head recruiter Bridget Kennedy!

Dance Your Heart Out

Come join Greek Life and dance your night away!

On February 5th, Greek Life is hosting a dance party fundraiser. All proceeds will go to help with the disaster in Haiti and to The Boys and Girls Club of Binghamton.

The night will consist of different DJ’s as well as Masti, Dance Team, and International Flag Dancers will be performing.

Refining the Resume Workshop

In preparation for the upcoming Career Fair, Jillian Kroll, SOM Director of Placement, and Delta Sigma Pi will be hosting a workshop to review the basics of an effective resume.

“Refining the Resume: Taking it to the Next Level” will begin with a brief presentation by Jillian Kroll regarding several guidelines for creating an appealing resume. Participants will have a chance to sit with the members of Delta Sigma Pi for one-on-one resume critiquing throughout the week.

Starting February 1st until the career fair, Delta Sigma Pi will be hosting resume critique hours in the SOM Lounge from noon to 2:30 pm. Please bring a hard copy of your resume if you have one.
