Recruitment

Delta Sigma Pi isn’t just four years… it’s for life!

Delta Sigma Pi is Binghamton University’s oldest and largest Co-Ed Professional Business Fraternity. With over 770 alumni and 56 active members, we have an extremely strong presence on campus.

Why Rush Binghamton’s Foremost Professional Business Fraternity?

Delta Sigma Pi is an international co-ed professional business fraternity founded at New York University’s School of Commerce, Accounts and Finance. Since its founding on November 7, 1907 the fraternity has grown to over 206 active chapters and colonies, with over 230,000 members.

The Kappa Lambda Chapter of Delta Sigma Pi was founded on February 28, 1981 making it the oldest professional fraternity on campus, and among the oldest of any Greek organizations here at Binghamton University. Today, Delta Sigma Pi has become one of largest business organizations at Binghamton University.

A Word From Alumnus Daniel Rojas

Dear Potential Candidate,

On behalf of the Brothers of Delta Sigma Pi, I would like to thank you for your interest in becoming a member of our esteemed fraternity. I would also like to take this opportunity to talk to you a little about my experience with this amazing organization.

To be completely honest, I came to the General Interest Meeting back in the Spring of 2007 looking for free pizza. That was probably the smartest decision I made in my college career. Out of that GIM, I was given the amazing and fulfilling experience of rushing and eventually, pledging. I was awarded not just with new friends, but a whole new family. I can honestly say that without Delta Sigma Pi, I would not be the person I am today—professionally, socially or otherwise. Because I knew each and every Brother here, I have been changed for the better.

My Brothers make me proud everyday to call them as such. They are all truly leaders on this campus, and make Binghamton University better for all of us. As I reflect on my time here at Binghamton University, I am honored to say that my Brothers have been there through the thick and thin: through every one of my bad decisions, interview preps, all-nighters at Bartle, coffee breaks in Tax, my Bros have been by my side.

I hope that one day you can share with me in this sentiment, and to see you come out to our recruitment events!

If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at drojas1@binghamton.edu any time!

Best,

Daniel Rojas
Delta Sigma Pi, Kappa Lambda Chapter

I can’t imagine what my life would have been like now without the pledging process; it has made me a more independent, bright, business- oriented individual.
